Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays everyone!

We had such a beautiful happy holiday this year, Max's first! I have lots of pictures of his first december celebrations and a cute video of Max flying.

Sadly I don't have any pictures of our Hanukkah celebrations, but we enjoyed our Hanukkah stockings at Max's Maternal grandmother's house! We got some cute soft frog flipper slippers & a soft clingy bunny in mom & dad's stocking. Their poor puppy, Lastik still isn't used to the baby and doesn't like the sounds he makes, but hopefully we'll figure out how to get him used to Max.

Our Christmas eve was spent with Max's paternal grandparents up in the mountains. We had quite the adventure getting to their house through the snow, but once we made it (with Jim's help picking us up at Food-lion), we had a great time with dinner and gifts, then still made it home safely!

On Christmas day, we opened stocking at home, just the three of us in the morning before going over to Max's maternal grandparents. Grandpa & Gram gave Max some cute french clothes, a stuffed animal from Uncle Nick, a Wedgwood Peter Rabbit gift set from his great-grandparents & a handmade blanket from mommy. He really had a great time at both christmases and thanks everyone for their gifts.

New Years Eve we spent hanging out at the house and watching the ball drop in Times Square. Max totally slept through the whole thing, but that meant Cameron and I were able to enjoy a glass of champagne together and a little snuggling. A sober, quiet and sleepy new years - very different for some of us, but equally as enjoyable!

Max was mostly well behaved throughout the festivities (including my two birthday dinners & birthday rollerskating party) with minor fussiness most likely due to over-excitement and being away from home for too long. But he is loving all of his grandparents & great-grandparents' attention and is loving spending time with everyone!

Here are the pictures of our holidays (sorry some of them are really terrible, they were taken on my phone):
